Introduction
The enforcement of intellectual property rights depends upon, and is significantly impacted by, jurisdictional issues.
The jurisdictional regime relevant to intellectual property disputes has been impacted, in some cases significantly, by Brexit.
That regime continues to evolve, and it is important for businesses and organisations, in all sectors, who are interested in protecting their intellectual property, to understand how jurisdictional issues may be relevant to IP enforcement.
This new virtual classroom seminar will provide an update in relation to jurisdiction issues in intellectual property disputes following Brexit.
It will cover the claims that can - and cannot - be brought in the United Kingdom and in the European Union's Member States, and how those claims can be brought.
