Parliament made another move to tackle ‘corrupt elites and dirty money’, in the form of the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022. After an expedited passage through Parliament following Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine, the Act received Royal Asset in March 2022.
