Introduction

Being a trustee is increasingly a risky position. What powers do trustees need and how should they exercise those powers? How do practitioners draft documents for changing circumstances? When exercising those powers (or choosing not to) how do trustees avoid criticism from beneficiaries?

This virtual classroom session is aimed at private client practitioners who want to develop their existing knowledge of trusts and to be able to provide simple explanations to clients as to the duties, powers and responsibilities of trustees.
