There are two anti-money laundering roles under Regulation 21 of the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.

The first being the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), which we have had for a quite a while, and secondly, the new role of the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO).
