Introduction

This live broadcast session will build on developments which have occurred in relation to the Care Act 2014 since it came into force.

It will include an analysis of decided cases under the Care Act and related legislation such as the Localism Act 2020 and will look at how community care legislation has fared under the coronavirus emergency, including the response to persons from abroad without eligibility for mainstream welfare support.

It will also review emerging areas of challenge and likely future issues.

What You Will Learn

This live and interactive session will cover the following:

  • The Care Act 2014
  • Case law under the 2014 Act
